RadiusCP is our answer to logging on to Microsoft Windows Vista/Windows 7 using Radius Authentication. Our customized Security Credential Provider allows a organization to use Radius to authenticate users. Once authenticated they are then logged on with an account specified in the RadiusCP setup. If you choose to use Cisco ACS as your Radius authenticator you are then free to not only authenticate using Radius, but other authenticators as well. This would include LDAP, AD and local accounts amongst others.
Example. Using RadiusCP a college could now log its students on using Radius Authentication. They would be authenticated against a Cisco ACS server. The Cisco ACS server could then be configured to authenticate against multiple directories, LDAP or other Active Directories. Using this technique you can now centralize your authentication and accounting. The users in a classroom would then be logged on with an account specified. This means that each class room would have its own account and a single profile for logging on. No more mulitple logon profiles for every user.
We provide you with a .msi file to install RadiusCP on each machine and the source code for any modifications. If you want us to tailor it for your organization we can also do that. View the demo for screen shots for how to install and configure the system.
